STEP 1 - Create a very basic 5-page website and upload it to your website instance.
- Use both the Windows Notepad and Notepad++ editors to compose and edit pages
- Each page must include a set of links for each page in the website
STEP 2 - Now transform these pages into a web site for the class.
- Rename the pages
- default.html (this will be your home page)
- activities.html
- notes.html
- projects.html
- resources.html
- Place a copyright notice at the bottom of each page
- Update the links on each page with appropriate titles
- Do some of the editing in Notepad++
- Start replacing Lorum Ipsum content with actual class content as discussed
in lecture
Update your student website to use PHP server-side scripting.
- Rename files to use PHP extension
- Implement a header and/or footer include
- Implement dynamic year insertion for copyright notice
